Main features:
- Comprehensive support for industrial radiography executed with Ir-192, Se-75 and Co-60 gamma-ray sources.
- Radiographic techniques development in line with requirements of ASME V or EN 444/EN 1435 with calculation and check up of all critical parameters.
- Calculation of the minimum source-to-film distance required to meet the standard criteria for geometric unsharpness.
- Calculation of the minimum number of exposures required for full examination of circumferential welds according to the applicable standard.
- Calculation of the single exposure film length relevant to the specified number of exposures on circumferential weld with due consideration of parallax effects near the film edges.
- Determination of the IQI values required by the applicable standard for the examined material thickness, exposure arrangement and technique class.

- Estimation of radiograph density near the film edges which may be different than in the film center due to increased penetrated thickness and source-to-film distance.
- Exposure correction system based on test radiographs enabling adjustment of exposure calculation algorithm to the testing/processing conditions in the user laboratory.
- Printout of instruction sheets with all parameters of developed radiographic techniques.
- Database of gamma-ray sources used in the laboratory with possibility of calculating and printing of their activity decay timetables.
- Database of materials with radiographic equivalence factors. Possibility of designing radiographic techniques for materials other than steel.
- Calculations of radiation doses received by personnel during work with shielded or unshielded gamma-ray sources.
- Optional selection of the applicable code or standard, preferred units and IQI types.
- Gamex will operate on the following Windows platforms: Windows 98 SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
